If you’ve read the articles we’ve published on the Dubai Metro, the Dubai tram and the Dubai Monorail, you should be quite familiar with how you can get to Atlantis, The Palm by them.

First up, the distance between Bur Dubai and Atlantis, The Palm according to Rome2rio.com is 23 km, although by road, it is 32 km.
The quickest way to get to Atlantis from Bur Dubai is by the taxi, although this would be more expensive. The taxi is estimated to take about 26 minutes to cover this journey.
You can get to the Atlantis by a self-drive car, although if you’re not a resident of Dubai, you may need an international driving license to drive in Dubai. Assuming you had one, you’d need Dubai’s transportation apps to guide you through the journey. You can get the relevant apps here. A self-drive car is estimated to take about 26 minutes to cover this journey.
Since you’re in Bur Dubai, you probably would be starting your journey with the Dubai Metro if you’re close to any of the Metro’s stations in Bur Dubai— Al Ghubaiba, Al Fahidi and BurJuman (Transfer station). If you’re not close to any of these stations, you could get to them by the Dubai bus. Please see Dubai bus’s routes.
If you were at either Al Ghubaiba or Al Fahidi, get aboard the metro headed to the BurJuman transfer station. At the BurJuman station, board the Red line’s metro headed to DAMAC PROPERTIES Metro station.
From the DAMAC PROPERTIES Metro station, head to the Dubai Marina Tram Station which is the closest tram station to the DAMAC PROPERTIES Metro station. This distance may suck up more or less than 15 minutes if covered by leg, depending on the individual and how they walk. You may cover this by walking or by the taxi. Note; if you want your transfer from the metro to the tram to count, you must board the tram in 30 minutes.
Board the Tram to Palm Jumeirah Tram Station. From there, head to the the Gateway Monorail Station. Getting to the Gateway Monorail Station from there by foot can suck up 5 – 10 minutes.
Board the Dubai monorail with a single trip ticket to Atlantis Aquaventure Station at AED 20 or a round (to-and-fro) trip ticket to the given station at AED 30. It takes the monorail about 15 minutes to transit the length of the journey. The is where the Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark is.
To the left of the Aquaventure Waterpark is the Atlantis. This journey is estimated to take about 1 hour, and 19 minutes.
You should note that you can also get to Atlantis from The Gateway via the taxi at a higher fare, although tourists say visiting the Atlantis by the monorail gives you a better view of the Palm Jumeirah island than the taxi does, in that the monorail is elevated.
