Burj Khalifa welcomes back tourists to Dubai with a spectacular display on its LED Facade. And you know they are always stunning.
In June, Dubai Tour Pro reported that Dubai will be reopened for normal life on July 7th. And we showed how to travel to Dubai despite the Coronavirus; as well as how to stay safe through the pandemic in Dubai.
On July 7th the city truly reopened and Burj Khalifa celebrated it welcoming visitors on its LED-illuminated facade with the Dubai Fountain. One wouldn’t expect less as July 7 marked a big day for Dubai, given that travel restrictions have persisted for three months.
In a true Dubai style, the tallest building in the world was lit up in a stunning show. The huge LED screen (which is also the world’s largest) flashed red, purple and blue, with the simple greeting: “Welcome back to Dubai”.
A video, posted to the official Dubai Media Office Twitter account, shows the spectacle taking place in front of the famous Dubai Fountains. Eagle-eyed observers are seen wearing masks and social distancing, taking pictures and waving with their families.
