Premium Mountain View Room offer uninterrupted views of the mountains abutting the resort’s lush lawns. The amenities here are also good.
45 sqm, it comes with king and twin beds, an en-suite bathroom, complimentary coffee, tea, WiFi and parking. Two adults and two children younger than 12 are allowed in this suite.
Would you need more than just a 2-adults-2-children room? You can find a solution in Hatta Fort’s Three Bedroom Deluxe Villa nestled at the foothill of the famous Al Hajar Mountains and blending harmoniously with its rustic surrounds.
Situated on manicured green lawns and featuring a Jacuzzi, private garden and pantry area, this is the perfect choice for a large family, or a get-together with friends.
120 sqm, the villa’s rooms boast king and twin beds. Also featured in the villa are a private terrace, 2 en-suite bathrooms, complimentary coffee, tea, WiFi and parking.
Maybe I escalated things to quickly. Maybe the alternative I offered on the first suite on the list is too much. Maybe you want something between them. See if the Deluxe Mountain View Family Room is a fit for your needs.
Set against the backdrop of the stunning Al Hajar Mountains, this option features two interconnected rooms. The family room is decorated in a soothing pastel palette, each area with its own balcony or terrace overlooking picturesque mountain and garden views.
This suite is 90 sqm large and has in its rooms king and twin beds; it has an en-suite bathroom and a private balcony of course.
If the previous option is still too large and you want to cut down on cost a little bit, I think Deluxe Mountain View Room is the way to go. You still get the mountain view from this 45-sqm room. The suite is convenient boasting king and twin beds and an en-suite bathroom.
What’s more? The suite has open space with high ceilings, inspired by contemporary arabesque style and natural details of exposed stone, wood and linen. The soothing pastel palette is serene and complements the rich intensity of lush greenery, deep blue dam and umber horizon outside.
Lest I forget, this suite also offers complimentary coffee, tea, WiFi and parking.
To book any of the rooms, please see the official website. I strongly advise you to book well beforehand as the suites easily get booked out.
Hatta is not lacking in choice restaurants as it boasts several cafes and bars for different purposes and effects. For a daytime cafe, go to Cafe Gazebo. Elevated, you get to enjoy panoramic mountain views over the light meals served here. It gets even better with company. Cafe Gazebo opens from 7am to 4pm daily. Also opened in the daytime, from 10am to 4pm, is the Pool Bar. Boasting two temperature-controlled swimming pools, this is a perfect place for your afternoons in the hotel. Enjoy the light snacks as well as cold signature beverages offered while you bask in the sun here.
For a place after 4pm, visit Sunset Terrace. Sunset Terrace overlooks the Al Hajar Mountains and is an ideal spot for the evening in Hatta. It opens only in the evening, 6pm to midnight. No wonder the name. For a place for beverages and perfunctory conversations, you want to be in Roumoul Cocktail Bar which is open from 4pm to midnight. Featuring live music, this location’s perfect for a pre-dinner aperitif and post-dinner nightcap. When do you prefer to visit?

Thanks to TripsAdvisor.com for these following reviews.
This hotel is fantastic! The location is beautiful and you will feel like you are away from the business of Dubai and able to unwind and relax. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and hands on there was no need to note names as every one of them did a fantastic job! Our room was lovely, spacious, with a cottage vibe and the balcony overlooking the green and mountains is perfect! We came for mother’s day weekend… We’re … able to visit the animals outside: we particularly enjoyed watching the peacocks crossing the road and shaking their feathers.
The food in the hotel restaurant is very good, the chef really knows what he is doing! We also loved the little chef treats you are given in between meals such as the lemon and mint sorbet which is a gest pallette cleanser before your main meal.
Lastly, I must commend the hotel for being so accommodating, as I was working online I was unable to make it to breakfast and the staff kindly brought breakfast to my room instead, which really was a nice touch!
Thank you JA Hatta Fort Hotel, I will most definitely be back again!
The Hotel is beautiful and the temperature at night is much lower then Dubai especially the night breeze is something else. The hotel is well maintained and has a selection of activities for the children.
Exceptional hotel made simply for relaxing the mind and soul. the team is friendly and always attentive. the pools are superb. the animals are lovely and a great way to educate and provide a new experience for the kids. simply amazing.
After 3 months of lockdown/isolation restrictions we decided to take a break at Hatta Fort. We were very impressed by the measures taken to ensure guests are safe.
On check in everyone was wearing masks. Our credit card was scrupulously sanitized before being handed back to us, as was our key. We heard from the staff that everyone had been recently tested and found Covid free.
The rooms were spotless, as always. Again, we were informed that the rooms are thoroughly sanitized and fogged and left vacant for 24 hrs between guests.
The restaurants have well spaced tables – alternate tables have been removed, and the bar is now an extended dining area so guests have lots of space.
These are difficult times globally, and it’s a pity that these things now matter. But, Hatta Fort has done an amazing job in maintaining the highest standards of comfort and hospitality, while still making sure that all measures to minimize risk are carefully followed.
It was wonderful to know that we can still take a break and enjoy the lovely Hatta Fort experience without feeling that we’re compromising on safety to do it. Thank you, all!
Best place to have a staycation in UAE for family..Nice pool for kids and adults.kids play area, arxhery ?, air gun ? shooting and lots of activities . The best part i liked is the early morning jogging within the property where u can watch birds and hear brid sounds which refresh ur minds… Great staff and food..well recommended for the family and extreme precautions taken during this current situation
The setting of this hotel is spectacular – right in the midst of the Hatta mountains.
The grounds are lovely and full of activities – large well maintained grassy areas with a mountain lookout, kids and adult pools, archery, mini golf, a deer petting area and spa. There is so much to do and the Hatta dam and hiking trails are also only a short drive away.
The reception and rooms are all quite retro, which I loved. Our room was large, with an outdoor balcony area, looking over the grass and out into the mountains. The shower was decent and the large bed very comfortable.
Amazing place to spend time with family. Well thought landscaping that much the surrounding. Good food, clean rooms and a lot of activities to do for the entire family.
Note of thanks to Deborah, Franki, Thomas and Faisal this are excellent staff that will make you go back to the Hotel repeatedly.
